Booster Pump Setup – Pressure Gauge and adjusting pressure:
The pressure gauge usually goes after the pump to measure the boost pressure.
It is not necessary to adjust boost pressure. It will increase to 60 to 80 psi at output.
If you really must adjust the boost pressure to a specific pressure, you can do this in 3
ways.
1. Adjust drain rate in the RO system
2. Use pressure regulator to adjust pressure
3. Location of the pump, if you install the pump in front of the RO system before stage 1,
the pressure is higher than if you installed before the membrane stage.
